Peggy Noonan on the Inagural Speech

I love Peggy Noonan - have since I was a teenager. I don't know quite what to think of her assessment of the President's speech. On the one hand, I tend to agree with her. In the days right after 9-11, I was critical of the President for saying that we were going to bring an end to evil. In this speech he said we would bring an end to tyrrany. Peggy Noonan simply made the observation that this is earth, not heaven.

On the other hand, I fear that the claptrap chorus of pundits talking about the President's "hubris" (See Rush Limbaugh on how "hubris" is the new "gravitas.") is spreading to loyal Bush supporters who simply need something to write. Let's hope this isn't the case.
