I Hate to Say, "I Told You So"

but ...

Faithful readers of the Grenz know that I have been saying since the election that the single most important issue to religiously-motivated voters is judicial restraint. I argued here that "moral values" = court issues. I said and still maintain that the single most important event in the Presidential election of 2004 was the cancer of William Renquist.

And now, the holy war of politics has extended churches. This New York Times article talks about how Bill Frist spoke to a large church in Kentucky urging them to support senators who favor the nuclear option of eliminating the judicial fillibuster.
