I picked up the most recent edition of Zion's Fire magazine today. I glanced at the first article, an editor's reflection kind-of-thing by Marv Rosenthal. Then, I turned the page to an article about sin by Marv Rosenthal. Here's the thing - in the first line of both of these articles is the phrase "without fear of contradiction." With fear of contradiction, I've still got to ask, am I the only one who finds that a little strange?

Reminds me of a lady I knew (wife of a Marine)..who said every other word "to Where". To Where when she spoke she started with "to where" to where it was irritating to where you would count her to where's.

Without fear of contradiction, I can say to where that "to where" is as annoying as "without fear of contradiction."
Is it ok to admit here that I always thought people in Michigan used prepositions differently than other places in the country?
For example, most people I know would say, "I was up in Mount Pleasant the other day . . .". However, people there often said, "I was up to Mount Pleasant the other day . . .". I never got used to that.
