I Need Your Help

Apparently, in a recent issue GQ magazine declared that the goatee is the new mullet. While I am not the most with-it in men's style, I certainly don't want to be a slave to a fashion nightmare of yesteryear. So, here's what I'm wondering ... after 13 years, should I shave and rid myself of my face mullet?

What say you?

I've had my "face mullet" for just over four years now, and I'm not about to let some magazine like GQ tell me to shave it off.

Keep it!

I altered my goatee last year when I heard it referred to as "the pudding ring". I'd consider other options. It will always grow back if you really want it.

GQ-shmeQ-Don't let pop culture tell you what you like and don't like, I think you look suave, preacher man!

I think you look handsome and pull it off very well. I don't think you should change it...

I think there is nothing that can compare with a mullet. Ok? If you had some long wise old woddman goatee, you might be listening to the swanky wanker GQ. But you look hip, Bobb, you do.
I have a feeling if you shaved, you, like Cheyne, would look mighty young!

If you like it keep it; if you've decided it's time for a change shave it. You could also try the full beard option as well.

I never realized that you were so attentive to GQ and fashion. ;-)

LOL Matthew, that is my first reaction, too. Robb, you are a rock star-don't hide it!

trippia. My word verification.

Matthew, you are trippia if you think he's going to grow a full beard.

This makes me very nervous. I don't want anyone looking at me out with my shaven husband thinking, "Look at that old Cougar with that little boy/man."

Well if your following GQ I say just stick with their 10 commandments of fashion. These are less trendy and transcend the now. I experiment with facial hair but mostly keep a beard so my wife doesn't have people thinking she is married to a 12 year old. So, I say do what you want!
