Am I Weird?
A major snow storm has hit the Great Lakes region. I was up from 3:00 - 3:45 last night with the baby, so I turned on the TV and was watching the overnight newscast on ABC. In the corner of the screen was the Blizzard Warnings by county (I don't think I've ever seen a blizzard warning, by the way). Anyway, all of the counties around ours were listed, except ours. Am I weird that I felt kind of left out? This morning, we don't have inches and inches of snow - we just have wind and cold temps. If it is blizzarding all around me, I think I want the blizzard too. Am I weird?

Answer to 1st question: Yes, you are wierd.
Does this have anything to do with wanting to be in a blizzard? No, you've been wierd for a long time.
Is this what most people love about you? Yes, your wierdness is charming and appealing, as someone used to say, "strangely pleasurable".
On a more technical note, a blizzard has more to do with wind speed than snow accumulations. Kind of like a hurricane rating, blizzard conditions are reached at certain wind speeds and visibility conditions.
You know a lot of stuff ... about my weirdness and meterology.
Dare I say 1st hand experience on both?
I actually learned about the blizzard requirements one winter in Alma when we had one and the local weather people explained all the details.
I am often a wealth of useless information.

There is something comforting about being at home while a storm rages all around on the outside.
