Crumbs from Your Table
Here is a great reaction to / application of U2's wonderful song Crumbs from Your Table. Much that I have read and listened to lately has been challenging me to see things from a more biblical view and less of a conservative political view. Enjoy this good article.

This is something that I've gone through the past few years. I'm not sure if it's a reaction to my spritual mentors' (my father, my pastor) almost fanaticism with the Republican party or my disgust with the idea that Republican and Democracy equals Christianity or my reading of the minor prophets. I love what they have to say about oppression. Oppression theology is very attractive at times and people who are politically conservative usually say people should help themselves. I guess it is a mixture of the three. Anyways, it is a good song and I listened to it again while I read the article.
