"The Lion, and the Witch, and the Wardrobe"

That's what Vinny calls it. And we are going on Monday afternoon. Here is a generally positive review from Christianity Today.

The bloody heathens, I knew they shouldn't have touched that story. I'm not going to see this movie, I already know I would go absolutely berzerk. I think I'll have to stick with pride and prejudice for this holiday season's feature film.

sorry Josh,

Not nearly as bloody as LOTR. Very good movie. Very well done. This movie was so redemptive that it caused James Dobson to relinquish his ban on Disney movies!!!!

Thats how good it is.

You know I've been thinking about it, and their was no blood at all in the movie. Their was reference to blood but there was none at all in the movie.

It was less voilent than most cartoons.

It was actually kind of humorus in that there were parts of the battle that you know should have had blood but swords ended up being clean.

Oh well, just a thought. I saw it on an elementary school trip (Mt. Plesant Christian Academy). Still very impressed.

The movie seemed to fit the description of Aslan in the book and at the end of the movie. "good but not nice."

I highly recommend it across the board. Vinny and Mattie however might have nightmares...just a thought.

I've been a little nervous about that too, j, but the tickets are purchased, the babysitter's ready for C and R promised to get up at night with the kids if they do, so i guess we're going!

saw it again! Twice in two days. Love it! On second thought. You might not have too big of a problem. Who knows though. Good luck let me know how it turns out.
