Kingdom Reality

So, I had an idea for a sermon series and thought I would put it up here for all of you creatve souls to chime in. Here it is:

Using the parables of Jesus to teach what reality will be like in the kingdom of God, as opposed to the "reality" we have reinforced for us by reality TV shows. Here's the challenge - use the name of a reality TV show to title a sermon from one of the parables about the kingdom. Bonus points for humor.

The Bachelor - The Parable of the Ten Virgins, Matthew 25:1-13 The catty argument about sharing the oil could totally happen on the Bachelor!

The Apprentice - The Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25:12-30 When the master returns and the servants have to own up, it's the ulimate boardroom scene.

Average Joe - The Parable of the Wedding Banquet, Matthew 22:1-14 No hunky guys here, just your every day run of the mill slubs at this wedding.

What you got?

The Two Builders: THIS OLD HOUSE or any one of 10 home remodeling shows

"Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; 25 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; 27 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it."

this will probably be taken the wrong way but...I guess as a fellow speaker i try not to copy reality shows and make them a "christian" theme. not that its wrong but just kinda corny, sorry. i think we can be more creative and original...but the idea is interesting.
