Shootout in the Dawg Pound

Wow. What a game that was. The Browns just outlasted the Bengals in a very memorable game. My thoughts:

- Joe Thomas, rookie offensive tackle, played an amazing game. The Bengals never got close to Derek Anderson, and Jamal Lewis eventually had some nice holes opened up for him.

- If I was the Bengals, hoping to make a run at the Super Bowl, I would be very concerned about my defense.

- I like Chad Johnson a lot.

- I like Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow even more. (Hey Carl, you asked for a big game from Winslow. I tried to deliver for you, man.)

- Today's game will delay the Brady Quinn era by a few weeks at least, which is a good thing, I suppose.

And after last night's Hog game, I've got to say that I feel exhausted by exciting football games.

Woof. Woof.

We watched the last 6 minutes of a great game! Shades of the "Cardiac Kids" of the late 70's & 80's!!! NOW YOU UNDERSTAND WHY WE LOVE THE BROWNS NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna root for the Browns this year (no really) seen as how the Bills are in for another rough year - and they already lost to the Steelers meaning I will not even get the joy of hoping they at least could win that one so I could remind dad all season. Go Browns! go bills
