God Is Green ...

... but celebrities aren't.

Ah celebrities...when properly deep-fried, they taste like chicken (mm-mmm--finger lickin' good), and the vegetarian and vegan celebrities taste even better because they lack that bitter after-taste associated with meat eaters. ;-)

The thing that disturbs me about celebrities these days is not necessarily their hypocrisy and general stupidity, it's the people who still think celebrities are examples to the rest of us and are worthy sources upon which to form an informed opinion on a given subject. I love how so much attention is paid them when only top-of-the-line models can even speak coherently without lines being fed to them.

To give the devil (or "devils" as the case may be) his due, there are a few who do truly good works (and even a broken clock is right twice a day), but they are the exceptions that test the rule.

Properly, we should look to the Lord and to our friends and neighbors for virtues worthy of immulation and not so much to a group of pretty, shiny people who are paid to pretend to have noble qualities that they in truth commonly lack.

Even Woodey Harrelson? Oscar the Grouch?

I doubt you could accuse Oscar the Grouch of hypocrisy; although, I still don't know if his overall lifestyle is particularly worthy of emulation. ;-)
